The Real Estate Institute has selected these six mandatory courses to meet the 2019-2020 requirements
This course covers items involving listing contracts. Subjects covered include inspection and disclosure requirements, real estate condition reports, pre agency, disclosure duties, dual agency, and a discussion of personal property and fixtures.
This course covers the Residential Offer to Purchase and various contingencies and areas related to the Offer. Items covered include inspection and testing, financing and appraisal contingencies, notice and amendments relating to discovery of defects, secondary offers, bump clauses, and multiple offers.
This course reviews changes that have occurred in the past two years relating to real estate practice. The course begins with a review of procuring cause, enforcement of ethical violations and license law violations. The course reviews a licensee’s requirement to report criminal convictions. The course covers the following items: Administrative fees, types of agency, protected buyers, advertising a future property, and a class action law suit which could have a long term impact on real estate.
This course covers areas of ethical behavior. Areas covered include disclosure duties of licensees, reliance on third party inspectors, fair housing, assistance animals, and reasonable accommodation. The course also covers agent to agent relations.
This is a wide ranging course that covers three different areas of real estate. The three areas covered are condominium listing agreements and condo ownership, waterfront properties which includes a discussion of shoreland zoning laws and lake districts, and the residential buyer agency agreement (WB–36).
This course covers vacant land offer to purchase and several areas related to the purchase of vacant land. The course also covers risk management, contract drafting, broker supervision, and independent contractors are discussed. The course concludes with a discussion of delivery issues including actual receipt, forms of delivery, and binding acceptance.
We are offering the 72-hour Pre-license Sales class which will prepare you to pass the state real estate exam to obtain a real estate sales license.
We are offering the 72-hour Pre-license Sales class which will prepare you to pass the state real estate exam to obtain a real estate sales license. These classes will be offered on week nights from 6:00 p.m. - 9:15 p.m. and on Saturdays 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.on the following dates in 2020:
March 31, April 1, 2 and Sat., April 4
April 7, 8, 9, 14, 15, 16 and Sat., April 18
April 21, 22, 23, 28, 29, 30
May 5, 6, 7
Registration will close three days prior to the start date of the course.
NOTE: When you register for the March 31, 2020 in person class, you will be registered for all the classes!
